Kutsuwa Clay Molds!

I've been wanting these molds for a while and I finally got them! I purchased them from melovewhole.com.
I mostly wanted the waffle mold, but you can make eclairs, flans, tart bases, strawberries, bananas, hearts, leaves, and the long rectangular mold in the middle/top is for the icing part (you mold it and twist it around).

With this mold you can make four different donuts and, my favorite, churros!
The molds came packaged in this nice paper mailer and cool stamps.
They were also wrapped in these super awesome Chinese newspaper which I found really interesting.
It's fun to see things from different countries.

SQUISHY HAUL!

Okay, so I went a little crazy with buying squishies. Here are my purchases.

I bought a hello kitty jumbo donut, hello kitty mini donut, and a strawberry eclair (my first Cafe De N squishy!). The golden apple was an extra and it is soo soft and squishy! I love it!

I'm a little traumatized from purchasing from kawaii-land. The first time I purchased from there, every squishy had defects, but I took a risk and purchased from them again. Bad move. The yellow macaron squishy has a small chunk taken out of it on the edge. Try enlarging the photo to see it. Slight disappointment, but my other sqiuishies turned out fine. I guess it's not a huge problem but it still bothers me and if I'm going to pay so much for it, I want quality items.

This is a mix of two different packages from its-cute (formerly know as decoden-acc). My first package was two of the mini Cinnamorolls. They are so adorable! The second package is another mini Cinnamoroll and the peanut butter and chocolate Cafe De N eclairs.

MiniatureSweet Package

These are just a few items I bought from MiniatureSweet on Etsy.
I can't find cellphone straps with lobster clasps on them anywhere in stores where I live so I searched for them on Etsy. I purchased white, black, pink, and multicolored ones to attach to my polymer clay charms.
With every purchase from MiniatureSweet, you get a free gift. The more you buy, the more gifts you get. I bought a strawberry clay cane and got a blue butterfly cane as an extra.

New Squishies!

I've purchased four more cute squishies to add to my collection :)
The first three are from kawaiisquishyshop.storenvy.com. She has great prices and quick shipping! She still has more of these squishies in stock so I'd get them while they're still available. I haven't seen these squishies anywhere else for a reasonable price (including shipping price).

Powdered Donut
Chocolate Donut with Sprinkles
Mini Chocolate Donut

The last squishy is from tootookawaii.com. She recently stocked up on a ton of super rare squishies for the best prices ever! I had to quickly get one before they sold out so if I were you, I'd bookmark her website and keep checking back for updates. Her package came in this adorable pink mailer with cute deco tape. The squishy was securely wrapped with bubble wrap and placed into a bag. I will definitely be purchasing from her again!

Rare Hello Kitty Squishy Replica

I've been wanting a hello kitty squishy for forever and I finally got one to add to my squishy collection. I purchased it from decoden-acc.com. She has amazing prices and the cutest squishies.
This is the one I bought:
Her shipping price is great and you get your items super quick. Every purchase also comes with her adorable business card :)

Before receiving the package, I decided to make my own replica of it!
I made the actual charm, or "squishy" with polymer clay. I used dark brown and black acrylic paint for the "chocolate drizzle" and used triple thick sculpey glaze on top of it. I attached a black cellphone strap fom hobby lobby onto it to give it the full effect of a real squishy.
For the packaging, I used a small resealable bag I got from Hobby Lobby. I made all the graphics from scratch using my favorite editing software called Photofiltre. I started off by making the pink and brown striped background, then added the text on. I got the heart, tea cup, hello kitty head, and hello kitty bow from google images then edited them by resizing, cropping, changing the color, etc. to make them resemble the ones on the actual squishy package.
For the label with the barcode, I actually just scanned the one on the actual squishy and then edited it on the computer to fit. The red label, however, was made with Photofiltre. The official Sanrio tag is from google images.

Here is a comparison of the actual squishy and the replica:
I'd say it turned out pretty well. The graphics aren't as vibrant, but there's nothing I can do about that. The polymer clay charm itself is nice, though :)
This was extremely fun to do so I might make more of these!
