Packaged Charms!

My newest charms!

Cafe De N Eclair Squishy-Inspired Charms

Unlike my previous charms and replicas, these charms were made with pluffy clay instead of polymer clay. Pluffy clay is a soft, fluffy modeling clay. Like polymer clay, it never dries out and is baked to harden. Pluffy clay is a lot softer and lightweight than polymer clay and it can get sticky while you're working with it.

These charms were fairly easy to make. It was my first actual time making charms with pluffy clay and I think they turned out well.

SQUISHY HAUL!

Okay, so I went a little crazy with buying squishies. Here are my purchases.

I bought a hello kitty jumbo donut, hello kitty mini donut, and a strawberry eclair (my first Cafe De N squishy!). The golden apple was an extra and it is soo soft and squishy! I love it!

I'm a little traumatized from purchasing from kawaii-land. The first time I purchased from there, every squishy had defects, but I took a risk and purchased from them again. Bad move. The yellow macaron squishy has a small chunk taken out of it on the edge. Try enlarging the photo to see it. Slight disappointment, but my other sqiuishies turned out fine. I guess it's not a huge problem but it still bothers me and if I'm going to pay so much for it, I want quality items.

This is a mix of two different packages from its-cute (formerly know as decoden-acc). My first package was two of the mini Cinnamorolls. They are so adorable! The second package is another mini Cinnamoroll and the peanut butter and chocolate Cafe De N eclairs.

MiniatureSweet Package

These are just a few items I bought from MiniatureSweet on Etsy.
I can't find cellphone straps with lobster clasps on them anywhere in stores where I live so I searched for them on Etsy. I purchased white, black, pink, and multicolored ones to attach to my polymer clay charms.
With every purchase from MiniatureSweet, you get a free gift. The more you buy, the more gifts you get. I bought a strawberry clay cane and got a blue butterfly cane as an extra.

Botan Rice Candy

Botan Rice Candy is a soft, chewy, slightly lemon-orange flavored candy with an outer layer of rice paper. The rice paper is clear and plastic-like when dry, but it is edible and dissolves in the mouth. It is a traditional Japanese candy.
The candy's name, Botan (kanji: 牡丹, hiragana: ぼたん), means "peony" in Japanese. A peony blossom is shown on the label, next to an inu-hariko, a dog-shaped traditional toy for Japanese children.
The candy is similar to the taste of a gum drop, but better, and with a slight taste of rice. It might sound a bit strange, but it's delicious! I love it! I have to buy multiple boxes since the portions are so small (in my opinion).
Each box also comes with a collectible sticker!

Botan Rice Candy can be purchased at your local Asian food market. You can also buy it online at Amazon.com.
